LE VILLAGE NSANA PAR KYE-OSSI

Nsana est un village qui se situe dans l'Arrondissement de Kye-Ossi, Département de la Vallée du Ntem au Sud Cameroun.Dans sa structure, il est subdivisé en 6 hameaux qui, en venant d'Ambam sont: Mbe-ossi 1, Mbe-Ossi 2; Nsana-Centre; Nnam-Nkègn; Adzap-Elon et Ekoum-Abang. La population de Nsana est essentiellement Essamengône, avec comme langue le ntumu.Village aux habitants très hospitaliers, Nsana a plusieurs fois été le lieu de refuge des citoyens équato-guinéens et gabonais.Du point de vue religieux, Nsana a une forte coloration chrétienne avec l'Eglise Catholique et l'Eglise Presbytèrienne Camerounaise qui cohabitent pacifiquement.

Le taux de scolarisation est élevé, avec en prime un grand nombre de fonctionnaires. Les statistiques présentent ce village comme celui ayant le plus grand nombre de cadres fonctionnaires de l'Arrondissement de Kyè-Ossi. L'on note cependant une tendance actuelle des jeunes au découragement vis à vis de l'activité scolaire, en raison de la situation socioéconomique de la sous région frontalière, notamment une ruée vers les pays voisins à la recherche de petits emplois.

Nsana dispose d'une école primaire publique à cycle complet qui forme chaque année des candidats à l'examen du CEP et du Concours d'entrée en sixième dans les lycées de la place.

Interrogé sur les projets à court et à moyen terme de ce village, Edgard ABESSO ZAMBO, membre de l'élite du village pense que "Nsana est un village plein d'histoire. Il s'agit de réinterroger au préalable cette histoire, question de retrouver des éléments susceptibles de renseigner sur certaines réalités qui sous-tendent l'existence et le statut du village. Autrement dit, procéder à une rétrospective sérieuse grâce à laquelle on peut envisager un repositionnement efficient. Tel est à mon avis le sens qui devrait animer la nouvelle génération".
