La presa es uno de los atractivos de Huachinantla.
La razon es que aparte de ser una fuente de progreso por los regadios y la produccion de tilapia, tambien es una fuente de "turismo" local donde se puede nadar y pasar un buen dia de campo a las orillas de este lago artificial.
Mi padre Sr Facundo Santana fue el encargado principal a nivel local en la contratacion de mano de obra y en la construccion de este lugar, lo recuerdo pues acostumbraba llevarle "el almuerzo" de Huachinantla a ese lugar.
