Warangal fort
one of the wel preserved fort in AP, it has a total of 3 circular walls the outer most wall is breached at many places and extends over many villages and very few people know much about this,The second outer wall is made of mud dykes and the inner fort is made of granite walls.there are Moats at the base of theses 2 walls but they are in most places filled over, and not very distinct.
this fort was planned and built to be so difficult to conquer that the Muslim Moguls who attacked this kingdom on three different occasions, were able to break into the fort only by bribing one of the treacherous commanders serving in the Kakatiya Army. There is a small pond in the center of the fort adjacent to that is a single monolithic rock on which there is a small Shiva Temple.
There is also a multi-arched building supposedly built by Sitabh Khan (Hindu name; Seetaapati)
